Office Visits

INITIAL VISITS

During the initial NaturalTherapies.MD consultation, Dr. Gerard spends an hour personally interviewing and carefully assessing your health concerns. Based on your health concerns and symptoms, she will authorize appropriate specialized testing: saliva, blood, or urinary. Saliva testing is not covered by insurance companies. However your insurance plan may cover a portion of your blood or urine testing.

FOLLOW-UP VISITS

During your one hour follow up consultation visit, Dr. Gerard evaluates and discusses your test/lab results in addition to explaining to you your customized therapeutic or preventative treatment plan using the safest and effective therapies with the least possible side effects. Your lifestyle, budget, and willingness to accept these recommendations will play a major role in which treatments will be appropriate and recommended to you.

Subsequent follow up and maintenance visits are typically of 60 minutes duration. These visits may be scheduled as soon as six weeks but no later than three months after initiating any type of hormone or neurotransmitter therapy. Maintenance visits are mandatory every six months in order to assess your progress and adjustments for hormones or certain supplements to ensure the ongoing success of your customized, comprehensive, root cause-centered treatment.
